FISHING REPORT FRIDAY 19TH MARCH

I was away last week sorry and therefore no report but then its much the same this week. Weather still crappy and not the best fishing conditions everywhere we go.

OFFSHORE – Conditions very un favorable so i’ve got nothing for you this week sorry and it looks like theres no much better weather on the way.

ESTUARY – Still the lower reaches of the rivers seem to be the best option for fishos braving the crap weather getting into bream and flathead mainly on bait and bright coloured soft plastics if fishing in the dirty water. plenty of mud crabs getting caught too.

FRESHWATER – Borumba has been producing bass in the passage and 3 ways. fish have been a little deeper.  Saratoga on surface lures in the sticks and up the yabba arm.

Sorry we had to cancel our Barra trip this weekend due to the weather turning bad on Saturday. we will be booking another one soon so keep your eyes out. those 3 boys still heading up this weekend….. your mad but good luck from all of us and i hope you prove the decision a wrong one

cheers ben

FISHING REPORT FRIDAY MARCH 5

well due to the weather this week i dont have much for you sorry

OFFSHORE – Weather has been crap so nothing to report for this week except for last sunday there were plenty of black marlin getting hooked and caught around the bait schools at the 9 mile. spanish mackeral around inner gneerings.

ESTUARY – Rivers are filthy so fish your in coming tide where there is a bit of cleaner water coming in.  stay around the lower reaches and try for bream, flathead and trevally.  a couple of boys were getting into some really good trevally last saturday in the canals on lucky craft sammy 65′s.  i also got a report from a crew who braved the weather during the week and sat under the motorway bridge under cover and were rewarded with some nice bream and flathead on banana prawns and mullet fillets.  the wind looks like easing a bit but i think the rain is going to stick around for the weekend. if you happen to get out there good luck

talk to you next week
