FISHING REPORT FRIDAY 25TH JUNE

ESTUARY – Bream, flathead and school jew in the cod hole. jew mainly at night. Tailor around the river mouths still. morning is your best bet. still getting mud crabs in the upper reaches of the river. trevally early morning around bridge on nicklin way. flathead in bli bli stretch. Dart and bream along the beaches.

OFFSHORE – weather not good this week but the weather looking great coming up as of this afternoon. early in the week and last weekend. Snapper, pearlies at barwon banks. snapper sweetlip on murphys. spanish mackeral on caloundra 12 mile. spanish mackeral on north reef. trout, sweetlip and squire on sunshine reef.

FISHING REPORT FRIDAY 11TH JUNE

ESTUARY – There are still plenty of good tailor being caught around maroochy river mouth. flathead and whiting around chambers island. jew and bream in the cod hole. flathead in the canals on trolled lures. pink micro mullets working best. tailor and trevally on poppers around mooloolah river mouth. dart, bream and tailor along kawana beach. noosa north shore near teewah village there is good tailor, dart and bream. garfish are staring to show up in the rivers too. they are excellent bait for big flatties and arent bad eating too. wipe the dust off your blackfish rod because they wont be too far away either. noosas rock wall  at the mouth these fish are stating to show up,.

OFFSHORE – Snapper out on the inside reefs of the barwon banks. sweetlip, parrot and peral perch on murphys reef. few spooted macks around old woman island. Inner gneerings had a few parrot, sweetlip and lots of small squire. Nick from top catch charters reports a great mixed bag of fish this week from the banks. one trip netted cobia, amberjack, pearl perch and snapper. he also fish last Sunday out of caloundra  and got into some maori cod and pearlies. he also spotted the first whales ive heard of for this year which gives all of us snapper fisherman that feeling. you know what….

FISHING REPORT FRIDAY 4TH JUNE

OFFSHORE – Tuna chasing the bait schools in close of alexandra headland. Spottie mackeral north of old woman island. Spanish is same area down deep on trolled halcos and rapala x raps.Cobia around murphys reef on slab baits or slowly drifted pilchards.Red throat, snapper,  and pearlies out on the banks. Coral trout, cod and sweeltip on coolum reefs. Snapper, sweetlip, maori cod, parrot at caloundra 9 mile. Nick from top catch charters reports some good pearlies around 2-3 kg at caloundra 12 mile but caught many undersize fish too.The crew also got into good snapper to 3 kg and plenty of red throats but they were all around the 38cm borderline.

ESTUARY – Bream and flathead in the lower reaches of the rivers. School jew around motorway bridge. Bream in the cod hole. Tailor around maroochy river mouth. Tailor and dart along the beaches in the deeper gutters. Trevally and tailor in woods bay in noosa river.Flathead in weyba creek. Bream off jettys in hilton tce stretch.
