FISHING REPORT FRIDAY 28TH JANUARY

Again apologies for no report as our computer was still being fixed….. back on deck this week.

OFFSHORE – Some good days during the week this week. some big spanish mackeral, yellowtail kings and sweetlip and snapper were caught near the blinker on wednesday. victor baileys reef tuesday night fished well for snapper, sweetlip, yellowtail kingfish and one 7kg red emperor. snapper, moses perch, spanish mackeral, spotty mackeral and coral trout on sunshine reef. top of the barwon banks there was sweetlip, pearl perch and snapper. murphys reef some good sweetlip and parrot. a few spottys and the odd spanish off coolum reef on trolled lures. cobia, snapper and spanish out on wide caloundra.

ESTUARY – rivers starting to clean up. bream and flatties down mouth of mooloolah. trevally on lures around kawana island. whiting around chambers island. trevally around motorway bridge. around bli bli bridge lots of bream and a few small school jew. jacks in noosa river at night on live bait in woods bay.

FISHING REPORT FRIDAY 14-1-11

OFFSHORE – Conditions were unfavourable this week and ive got nothing to report for offshore. sorry

ESTUARY – Conditions not much better as we got a huge down poor of rain sunday and monday and tuesday and ahhhh wednesday……… pretty much everyday since my last report. but its been ok since wednesday afternoon and a few brave fishos ventured out for a flick around. most have been concentrating on the river mouths once again and you’ll find fish sitting in the deeper holes trying to get out of the fresh. i missed the news last night but i had a customer tell me he saw some lucky fella with a monster jack from the cod hole.

FISHING REPORT FRIDAY 7TH JANUARY

OFFSHORE – Not the perfect of conditions this week but its alot better than it has been. anglers from far and wide got a chance to get out offshore and also in the estuary’s this week with light winds early and some sunny days finally. Caloundra 12 mile some ripper dolphin fish were caught along with some cracking long tails aswell. out around the blinker there were spotty mackeral and spanish macks caught. currimundi reef some good bottom fishing with parrot, sweetlip and a floater line out the back would get you the odd spotty. out on the banks – red throat, snapper, sweetlip, wahoo and spanish mackeral. some big spanish were trolled up between old woman island and coolum reef. some good coarl trout on murphys and the inner gneerings.
